How about trading KPJ and let Nix and TyTy fight for the starting job?

(And trade Gordon to give that #10 jersey to Jabari.)

    Sam Cassell

Hopefully the ankle injury took some of his explosiveness. If so Stone found a steal.

I know this is high school, BUT, TyTy appears to have a lot more athleticism than his Kentucky highlights would suggest. He is getting up and blocking shots multiple times in this video. He also cooks Paolo a couple times :D. Stone capitalized on an ankle injury that dropped his stock for no reason. Great value at #29.

We all thought this pick wasn't even going to come into play.....that Stone was going to package 17 and 26.

Who would of thought we would end up with a caliber PG who could replace KPJ in the long run along at 29?!? That's crazy.

Mark me down for very happy.

I was hoping we pick a PG at 26, and was hoping Kennedy Chandler would be there. Surprise surprise, the higher rated TyTy Washington was on the board.

I didn't want TyTy at 17, and didn't figure we would get him at 26 (or at 29 plus two 2nds!), and so watched a lot more tape on Chandler. My pre-draft viewing of Washington was NCAA games and enough scouting videos to think he wasn't a lottery pick. At 29? Great!

He seems to have great vision and feel for the game, and hopefully is athletic enough to get the job done as a backup PG one day

And if he doesn't work out we still got two future seconds out of the deal.

This random, end of the first round prospect will likely push EVERYONE to the bench. It'll be just Titty out there by himself winning ships.
