He is going to be a good player in his 2nd year, this year is going to be a G League year because the rockets love Nix. I heard they wanted to draft MarJon Beauchamp but when the Bucks drafted him we moved down and gained a couple of 2nd rounders because they knew TyTy was going to be there. MarJon Beauchamp is a very good 3 and D player.

I believe you are right. I have TyTy as possibly slightly better than Cameron Payne.
    A career backup.

Each have parts of their game better than the other; but ultimately TyTy
and his floater in the lane will make him a decent guy in PnR.....and Silas may
be able to tap into that. Amplify it eventually. Year 2 more than likely.

Edited: Cameron Payne best years have been 11 points and 5 assists/ game

Yeah, the guy is going to be a solid NBA player. He has the right mindset.

I hope he can develop into a Jrue Holiday type PG. Might not be on the same level. But the same kind of mindset. Play defense. Set up the offense. Score when needed.

Imagine Jabari and TyTy's daily conversations

    T: Nice one boy
J: you know what I am saying?
    T: of course boy
J you know what I am saying?
    T: I got you boy
J: you know what I am saying?

I think he's more in the CP3-lite mold. Jrue is a tenacious and physically gifted defender. Tyty is a little more cagey and seems to just want to do what it takes to *win*. Even if it means overstepping boundaries. Like Draymond.

I want him and KPJ to both be given a fair shake of handling the offense. Tyty looks like a better PG than KPJ already, just not as polished of a scorer and defender.

I think physically, he is closer to Jrue than CP3. When he fills out with more muscles, he can be quite formidable.

As a point guard, I agree. Ty is a natural at the position. KPJ is working hard to learn something that doesn't come naturally to him, in my opinion. In the long run, I think he'd be better off playing at another position.

TyTy, Jabari, Tari communicate on Defense.

That is a Veteran mindset, building up a Winning Team, it will take a season to get experience but the Rockets will get there.

Haven't had Communicative Defensive players since Chris Paul and PJ Tucker.

Very Refreshing that these Rookies already Understand in talking on Defense and Offense.

Either Ty is way taller than I thought or Cp is shorter than I thought. Thought Cp was like 6’1

Stats may be a little skewed because of Shia Gilgeous-Alexander and
DeAndre Fox.....Tyler Ulis had nice stats in college. How did he do with us?
