Congrats and it's interesting to note that most of them are 21+ y/o or 2nd year players. Not a coincidence and bodes well for Jabari and out other young players.

I think Tari also led the league in rebounding, too (not counting Tacko Fall since he had limited minutes/games played). Of course, all this with the caveat, "it's just summer league".

I think he did and my main point is Tari and Keegan as 21 y/o's can improve but you could argue not as much as 19 y/o Jabari.

Tari Eason, best player of our draft.

Poor Jabari, didn't even make the all-second team.

    Congrats to "Peso"!
Hopefully he can mesh with Rockets offense this season.
Have no worries whatsoever about his defense.

Out of all the 1st team summer leaguers he's by far the best defender!

Can't pinpoint it but Tari is special. Awkward/hustle type of game but he's a gamer that's improved every year. Can he be out Kawhi (who was drafted 15 overall)? Man would that be unbelievable. The measurable comparison is scary.
I went back and dug up some highlights....and it was funny to see who he knocked off in the Seattle state final his senior year.

Tari Eason possibly is the best player we drafted this season.

    So what?

Just because you are younger does not mean you will get better or be better.

Just look at how many young guys wash out.

    Question?

How much better a shooter will Smith have to be to make him better than Tari?

    44% to 35% 40% to 33%?

Right now Tari has more versatility offensively than Smith and I think the defense is very comparable.

Agree. Great video! It's interesting to see his game (alibi highlights) when he's #1 option. His handle and 3pt shot look a lot better, likely because he's very comfortable. Also saw a little mid-range game and some playmaking. But what really looks great is how dominate he can be on defense and in transition--that was exciting! Paolo looked helpless a few times, I wonder what his box score was for that game?

He just needs to knock down shots.

Defense also didn't look comparable to me. While Eason is good defensively, i thought Jabari was outstanding. Considering we don't need offensive contribution from either of them outside of 3pt shooting, I'd think Jabari would be better in our system right now.

Tari will still be very good tho, i'm sure.

In regards to who was 1st team? There is a 22 year old. A 23 year old. Keegan Murray will be 22 in a few weeks. Cam Thomas is 21 and played in the nba for a year.

Come on man that obviously matters and specifically what the poster was referring to. Get a ****ing grip man and enjoy the process. He seems to be extremely mature and has a great work ethic.

Let him play a season before having the need to say “he might be young but sometimes nba players don’t improve!!!”

Jabari looks like he will be phenomenal and Eason as well. Those along with Sengun and Green!! I’m ecstatic at all the possibilities this team will go over the next two years. It’s been fun watching it happen too.
