The rest of the nation should take a page out of Florida when it comes to running elections and having results on the same night.

No they y should do what they can to make voting easy, secure and accessible from to as many voters as possible.

That is way more important than same day results.

Yup, Dems should actually acknowledge this. Florida's reforms on vote counting after the 2000 election have made it a model for counting votes.

Is Beto and Stacey a future prez ticket? It seems they are always linked.

Are the dems still blaming their crushing defeat in Florida on "redistricting"? Or will they accept that this was a democratic election and the people made an informed decision?

Agreed. He's also a climate change activist.

These are issues important to younger voters.

His passion and commitment to those issues is genuine. What I fear is people adopting those issues in an insincere way to try and copy from his success.

You should take a page out of other members when it comes to owning up to your bets general.

Outside of Florida, Dems should be ecstatic with the House and Senate results thus far. The Dems are going to lose the house but they're really holding onto a lot of the marginal seats. Its still a coin flip for control of the Senate but that's better than what I thought would happen tonight.

Fetterman is currently outperforming Biden in the rurals and is holding serve in Philadelphia/Pittsburgh. He might pull this one off. He just needs to hold serve in the Philadelphia collar counties.

Yup, wont even be close. She's underperforming Schumer by only a handful of points.

Seriously, PA may not even be close at this rate. Fetterman is running way ahead of benchmarks. He's outperforming Biden almost everywhere.

It doesn’t appear like a red wave but it’s early

Yeah, GOP could still take the Senate but I think its pretty safe to say this isn't a red wave.

You act as though both aren't possible. I'd argue if they can't get results quickly, then they probably aren't very competent and that doesn't bode well for easy, secure and accessible.
