I’m in my phone so will post them later but there are direct quotes from Michels running for governor of WI saying if he wins Republicans will never lose. Both Finchem running for Secretary of State and Kari Lake for Governor in AZ have said they want certify the election if Biden wins in 2024. So to your point we don’t know exactly how a future election will turn out. These are people saying already that they won’t alllw the other team to win.
Also all their solutions for making electors more secure seem to benefit them. Removing ballot drop boxes and point stations on districts that tend to vote Democratic. They would be screaming bloody murder if Democratic Governors, Secretary of States and legislatures did the same thing to Republican leading districts and they would be right to do so.

That isn't new and the voters are often more apathetic than helpful. Prior to the Civil Rights Movement, most voters were nominally in favor of the idea, but they didn't care enough to do anything about it. It wasn't until they saw the dogs and firehoses and abuse from law enforcement from the media that enough voters actually cared to do something. But the issues, abuse, and murders were there before. It's just people were wrongly apathetic. So now we have people that are apathetic about this issue. It doesn't make them right.
You're right, but if you're trying to win an election, the smart strategy is to talk about the issues voters care about rather than the ones you want them to care about. Dems absolutely should talk about abortion and Democracy, but they shouldn't NOT talk about inflation or crime or other things. They should also be pointing out that the GOP is offering no actual solutions to any of these things. And that they are opposed to all the Democratic solutions.
