Masto in good shape right now in NV. 110k or so mail in ballots still to be counted. At current rates she would win by a comfortable margin

Where do they keep finding these votes for Boebert? It's Fraud! Frisch had a big lead and now it has evaporated! Fraud! Stop counting!

You can damn well bet the right would be saying this is if Boebert had the lead then Frisch started gaining.

Yes and just a reminder that Kari Lake in AZ who is running in a platform that the 2020 election was fraudulent because the vote count took a long time only won her primary after days of counting. Also her opponent was leading the night of the primary.

If she wins the governorship it would only be after days of counting with Katie Hobbs leading election night.

haven’t been able to find good analysis on the Arizona ballots remaining. Some folks on twitter saying Mark Kelly’s camp believes Rs are sweeping him and the governor race

I’m sure there are people on Twitter saying that. The analysis I’ve seen is that Kelly wins it. He’s got a large cushion from early and day of votes. The outstanding vote is mail in votes that came in late. There might not be enough to tip that. The governors race is very different with last time I checked Hobbs clinging to a very narrow lead.

Kornacki makes it sound like decent chance Kelly holds on in AZ but Kari Lake wins

Lulz at our “libertarian” posters now looking at 2024 after this embarrassment of a midterm.

It’s highly unlikely the supply chain will still be so ****ed up in 2 years.

If/when the economy bounces back, the left could run a giraffe for president and win. That’s how unpopular trump has made the Republican Party with young voters.

DeSantis can win 100% of Florida’s voters. That’s still only 30 electoral votes.

If Democrats Lose the House, They May Have New York to Blame
Republicans flipped four congressional seats in New York, the most of any state in the country. How did this happen in one of the nation’s most liberal states?

Since we are taking about bad candidates Hobbs ran a terrible race. Her refusal to debate Lake was very costly. It showed cowardice and poor leadership. Yes a debate with Lake would be a shytshow but not appearing with her just makes it look like you can’t handle the heat.

Title isn't direct with what the issue is.

The issue is a LIBERAL court forced NY to have a non-gerrymandered map. Because they couldn't gerrymander to the extremes like Florida, Texas, and yes... Illinois did, they weren't able to draw favorable maps.

When all red states are allowed to gerrymander but blue states don't allow themselves to play by the same rules... yeah... Democrats shoot themselves in the foot which is what happened here.

The fact is this show fundamentally how it's engrained in the DNA of Democratic Americans that gerrymandering discriminates, and should be banned. However it would be like allowing the Warriors to play the Rockets with 8 players on the court at the same time that the Rockets have 5 if you allow the Republican states the gerrymander while Dem states don't.

So Democrats must gerrymander their states in the most obnoxious ways possible to make it obvious to the country that this is un-democratic, and needs to be outlawed.

I thought debates made no difference in outcomes? That seems to be common consensus now a days.

Keep in mind that the right wing media was messaging to their base for days that they should wait till the last minute and drop off their ballots same day.

They were messaging that because they wanted to make the system look as chaotic as possible, and drag it out from election night so they could have time to build narratives.

I think it's waaaayyyy too early to assume these drop box ballots are democratic leaning. We just have to see if MAGA voters actually listened to their overlords like Steve Bannon, and Charlie Kirk or if most didn't pay attention and voted in person.

I'm expecting it to be razor thin close in both state, but we just don't know how much that message and marching order got through to MAGA voters.

It's not one take. That's exactly what happened. NY couldn't gerrymander because the court struck down their partisan maps. It's not rocket science.

Oh don't forget they are already throwing around that Hobbs is the SoS in Arizona and if Lake loses it is fraud. They forget counties control elections in AZ and Maricopa County's board is 4 GOP and 1 Dem
