Yeah, I think we all know what the decision will be. They would have played Pierce more in the preseason if they had any doubts at all.
I'm really excited to see Pierce and Metchie on the field. They could both be key factors in the near future. Hope Metchie makes a full recovery.

You're not lying. Seems like everyone was super hyped to see Pierce unleashed and then the regular season comes and it's the Rex f***in Burkhead show that results in an epic collapse capped off by one of the most cowardly coaching decisions in recent memory. You can't get more Texan than that.
Yeah, that was one of my biggest disappointments in the game. That, and I was hoping that Pierce would have some great runs when he was in there. I hope we see the Pierce we did in preseason when we play Denver. He's got to do better than 3 yards a carry. That wasn't much better than Burkhead. The difference is, I know Pierce can do it. With more playing time we should see some breakout runs out of him. This running up the middle isn't working with our offensive line. We need 5 or 6 yards a carry out of him to be an offensive threat, and take some pressure off our QB and wide receivers.
