You grab a couple of road graders at IOL in the 2nd/3rd round and another back to platoon with Pierce (I like Corum) and you dont need a tier 1 QB to be a good offense.

And a WR like Johnston or Hyatt wouldn't hurt a thing.

Dameon Pierce expected to miss time.
Another reason you need a 1-2 punch out of the backfield.
Two like Pierce would give Texans a running game to be feared.

Shut him down for the year. He's one of the few bright spots on the team. No need to risk further injury.

Saints had a nice duo in Kamara & Ingram (first stint). Speed mixed with power seems to always work. We have the power back, now we need speed. We’d have to find someone in the late rounds though.

Good call, that's exactly what they did with IR announcement. I wish he could have gotten his 1K as a rookie, but allowing him to heal and not risk further injury is the wise move. I just hope it doesn't mean more Burkhead. Give me some Dare and anyone else for rest of the season.

Pierce is a great pick, but now we need to get him some real support and not run him into the ground.
We have a bunch of picks in this draft, so taking another good back will give us a backup solution, a 1-2 punch out of the backfield, give our QB a relief valve running game and preserve Pierce's career as well.

They can draft Joey Bago'donuts for all I care as long as Burkhead never wears a Texans uniform again
Mac Davis would have said, "Happiness is love of Burkhead in my rearview mirror".
some of the oldies on this board will get that reference.

I'm hoping Achane falls to the top of the 3rd or that Caserio even trades up to the bottom of the 2nd for him. Thunder and lightning, Achane is a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. The Texans offense has been missing a weapon like this for years. Also give me Roschaun Johnson or Kentre Miller in the 5th. Speed kills,

    1st Hyatt
    3rd Achane
    5th Miller.

A good young set of skill position players that are threats to score anytime they touch the ball.

Reaaaaaaaally want Achane to pair with Pierce. Literal thunder and lightning. Also, love the idea of Hyatt speed, could he be a tyreek hill? Maybe. But I feel like #12 is too early for him, but not sure he makes it to 33. Also, we have metchie in the slot, collins on the side, would rather have Quentin Johnston opposite collins… but would rather have Hyatt than Addison. Speed and can play outside more than Addison.

Achane and Hyatt on the same offense with Pierce would put the fear of god in DC's. Maybe Caserio could trade down a few spots, say to #1-15, get extra picks and still draft Hyatt.

That would be a great season.

Add Singletary with another 700 and I think that would mean a lot of pressure of Stroud.

It also means we’re in games and the defense is playing well.
Not much running game when you’re down 2-3 scores
