those are mind boggling numbers by Stingley. But the stubborn pigheaded national media decided long before the draft Sauce was the best pick. And by the Texans choosing Stingley, it was seen as an a front to their hand picked choice.

We saw the same thing with Correa vs Buxton. The media stayed with their narrative until it was a running joke. Where even the novice knew that Correa was the vastly superior and correct choice.

He had that one PBU on the TE that was fire.

As long as he is healthy he’s a sure fire HOFer.

    Dude is the truth.

    Please stay healthy….

One thing I loved about this game:

everyone said “how are you going to stop Cooper? Will you have stingley follow him?”

Demeco says “that’s not what we do or how our defense works” which is fine. But it was LIP SERVICE, we actually did it and it worked!

when was the last time we all knew something that should be done, but it wouldn’t be because our coach thought he was smarter than everyone else. Sometimes the easy decision is also the right one!

You know who gets to experience the masterful performance of an NFL CB? …. well it’s the folks in attendance at the NFL stadium. Because as fans watching on TV, we may be privileged to a play here or there.

But that is okay, because having CB’s make too many appearances on our TV screens means the CB is being roasted on live TV. And as Texans fans we’ve had too many of those in the 23 year history of the franchise.

I’m sure national media is steaming that Stingley is this good. But that’s okay, they get their one last jab by getting Sauce Gardner as a starting Pro Bowl CB player while Stingley is merely an alternate.

Being at the game, everyone was yelling every time Stingley was on Coop. Surprisingly, it felt like every play. The few times he wasn’t lined up on the same side, it felt like he got a catch. He had two catches lol

Sauce vs Sting is a perfect example of why you don't really grade a draft until at least 3 years afterwards.

Really love what Sting is doing and so glad we have a true shutdown CB.

And Sauce is no chump by any means. He’s made 2 pro bowls in his two seasons in the league, and deservedly so because he’s played very good. But Stingley is not just a good CB, he looks like a Deion Sanders game changer type of a cornerback.
