When he's healthy he's one of the best CBs in the NFL.

Let's stay healthy, why don't we?

Are the Texans getting their lockdown corner back?

He shutoff half the field today.

I think there are five “premium” positions in the NFL: QB, LT, #1 WR, pass rusher, and shutdown corner. Did we get 4 over two drafts?

In fairness that defense has finally thrown in the towel. That’s what having Zach Wilson as a QB will do.

Just like happened with Stingley last year, thats what having Davis Mills at QB will do, throw the towel, keeping him in IR, the 2nd part of the season

Of course modern defenses emphasize a rotation, rather than a starting line-up these days, But who does he take time from? I saw an edge talking about the set up of a defender prior to key plays which requires more reps. This might be something to consider with the substitution pattern. Rest for series rather than for downs as opposed to a down specialist. The same probably holds true with Receivers.

The problem with asking a coach or coordinator is the element of surprise they want to keep to themselves.

Good Lord, that was terrible! Beaten in coverage and then loafed in pursuit..until he turned on the jets in order to lay out a fantastic block on his own teammate freeing up Shakir to score.

Can you imagine the response in here if that was Stingley?

Remember, now that the Leagues are in bed with gamblers, point shaving cannot be ruled out.

My comment about him throwing a block on his teammate was just snark, but watching it again...Man, if someone wanted to try and make a case that Sauce was fixing games...

Who or what is he looking back for a the :16 mark? Does he even touch Shakir? Any contact at all?

The more I watch it, the worse it gets. That was 2003 Matt Stevens bad.
