I doubt there's going to be any Luhnow type moves, you know, adding JV/Greinke etc... Heck Luhnow even added Maldy once at the deadline. I thought adding a catcher by trade in season couldn't be doi. I tried to tell everybody last year that signing Maldy,Castro BOTH to two year deals was a bad idea and was called a Click hater.

Given Mickey Storey’s idiosyncrasies, I think Whitley will just add to the stable of starters/piggyback guys. But if one were to be demoted, probably Conine, from what I’ve seen.

 

Gaston's 7 HRs is tied with Teoscar Hernandez and Hector Roa for the most HRs hit by an Astros player in a single DSL season since 2006, despite less than 1/3rd the number of PAs.

He’s just gone over 200 pa so it would make sense to promote him soon. But there’s a bit of a logjam in the system at OF right now. I would hope to see him up in mid July.
