Alejandro Garnacho is the real deal. He's making Sancho expendable...and probably Ronaldo, too. United just flows so much better without CR7 on the field. I don't know if he's played his last United game but he shouldn't be guaranteed anything come Boxing Day. I just don't know that anyone wants him. Certainly not anyone in the final 16 of the CL.

10 game winning streak, miserable timing for a winter break. Also, no football until January sucks. Maybe gonna watch some youth or amateur games.

Noticed England is starting cup&league within a week after the world cup final, absurd how little they care about the health of players.

You are half delusional if you think United's problem is Ronaldo.

He is the hardest worker, of course he has the right to say whatever he wanted.

It's a strategy to exit United and both sides knew it was coming and therefore no real existential need to resort to name-calling.

He certainly wasn't a solution to anything this season. There's no way you can objectively say he was even remotely productive this season. He still has not adjusted his game to his own loss of athleticism. He still thinks he can out run and out jump everyone. He can't. It's gone. It sucks when it happens but you learn to play a different style so that you can still be productive.

He certainly has a right to speak his mind...just as United has a right to say that the interview was no approved and was damaging to the club. I've seen the point made that other former players have said the same things. While that is true...the difference is they weren't employed by the club at that time. I do believe he knew exactly what the outcome would be. This really is a win win for everyone. United rid themselves of an albatross contract for a player that's no longer productive or willing to play within the system. Ronaldo can go wherever he wants. Unfortunately for him, his own ego is preventing him from seeing the writing on the wall. Champions League clubs don't need him and don't want him.

Though the best news of yesterday wasn't even that the contract had been voided. It was that the Glazer's are open to selling. That's fantastic for United.

If Iran played Saudi Arabia, who would the Qatarians root for?

Just saw the latest results. Good news for Bayern, players will be well-rested and filled with anger when they start the next CL run.

German football might also finally get rid of Bierhoff. Flick should be gone as well, has made too many mistakes even before the World Cup.

I like Flick, but Bierhoff should bugger off. And maybe it's time for a fresh start overall.

Can't make the same mistake and keep the coach again, after what happened in 2018. Flick, Bierhoff, the staff, the scouts, maybe even some of the youth coaches... all need to see their resignation papers by next week.
