They traded for Joc Pederson a week ago. They just took 3 of 5 games from the Mets and are only 4 games out.
It was sitting in cue, so it posted, I got that yesterday when I started to reply I just never scratched it out so it was included hence the immediate edit. BTW, that’s all this is, a time waster, unless you’re getting paid to post so good on you for the side hustle
I revise my statement. The Braves haven’t done any deals that actually matter. They are 4 games out with Acuna out, and others hurt too. The way they’ve played all year I don’t know why they think they’re just going to turn it on and play 0.600 baseball. They’ll be out of the division race in about 2 weeks.
Their division is garbage. The Mets are without deGrom and Lindor. You act like they are chasing the Dodgers. I mentioned before I was hoping the Braves would lose enough to become sellers so Morton would be available. They likely didn't lose enough...oh well
How the hell are the Yankees/Dodgers able to make these huge trades yearly? You’d think their farm system would be bare
It's amazing that as hyped as those farm systems are, you hear of so few that are traded for who actually become impact players. We are always running across people who came from the Astros farm and had a great impact elsewhere. Is it hype? Do they get better deals because of the hyped farms? Or am I just tuned in to former Astros?
