I don't know if Watson could but i do now that he had the chance to get to one and his team could not keep scoring or convert on critical downs to beat Mahomes team.

Watson does not have absolute garbage around him and Mahomes teams are not stacked, Reid was just fired by Philly yet now he is a supreme coach?

My point is you don't have to denigrate Mahomes to pump up Watson.

I’ve been saying the same thing since the beginning of the season.

Oh lord. Here we go. YOu too? You going to lay the 4-12 at Deshauns feet like some other stubborn guys around here? You had defenders apologizing to the guy for wasting a year.

Maybe Deshaun should have vetoed that fake punt? Asked Romeo to not play 20 yards off wideouts? Begged his coach to grow some nuts on the 4th downs that actually mattered in that game. You just wanted more magic and he couldnt deliver so with that he will be tagged the reason for failure in that game? THAT is what should make anyone laugh.

Its always the same argument "you dont have to bash QB X in order to support Deshaun" all the while guys taking cheap shots at him and trying to place blame in his direction for things out of his control. Deshaun Watson has done everything he could do for this team and frankly Im glad he doesnt have to hang around for jilted fans and an ownership group that places more validity in being able to recite the Apostles Creed than actually trying to field a winning team.

Edit: YOu might want to revisit Andy Reids record. How many straight NFC championship games did he go to? How many SBs? THAT is another way you guys like to amp up Mahomes as if he would have been this good with anyone.

I’ve never bashed Watson, unless it was deserved.
The problem is he’s propped up too high by some fans and denigrated by some. He’s not in the top tier, but he’s firmly in that second tier towards the top.
His peers aren’t Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady and even Wilson. It’s the next cut with Allen, Brees, Tannehill, Carr, Herbert.
I would say him and Allen could get into that first cut with more seasons like they just had.

When did I mention the 4-12 season?

When did I take any shot at Watson?

    When did I label Watson?

I see this a topic that lets say you are very passionate about and can't discuss rationally so I will let you be.

Mahomes is plenty shifty. Did you not watch the Super Bowl? He made some insane throws on the run. Avoided the rush on almost every single play.

He's one of my "binkies" at rb.
Would love to get him in the 5th.
Suprised though, I thought he'd run faster than a 4.54, but he's plenty fast on the field!

There’s always rbs that fall because of slow speeds in timed drills that have better game speed...just last year that’s why James Robinson went undrafted isn’t it? I hope Patterson falls to us in a later round

There's lots of rb's this year that are at least serviceable that will be available late in the draft.

With Fuller signing w the fish I am hoping wr Tamorrian Terry makes it to our 3rd rounder.
Dyami Brown's another wr I like there.
Of course dt Alim McNeil would be my preference!

    (Tommy Tremble)

Unless he's afraid to catch a ball over the middle.

Same was said about how awesome Warring is. Still haven't seen anything.

I think Akins and P. Brown are good for me at TE. Once Warring comes along, I think we're good.
