That article proves my point about not running a Tampa 2. But that’s besides the point.
Watson has been trash in the playoffs.
Wake me up when Watson carries a team period.
You keep bringing up Mahomes only makes you look more biased. Pressures, drops and no one stepping up lost that game. Mahomes was making crazy plays and receivers dropping them. He gets a pass, he’s already got a ring.
Watson doesn’t get a pass. He’s had one season of great play. And 1-2 in the playoffs.

I didn’t realize the Texans were still on the Hook for draft picks to Miami. Oh the agony of sucking for the next decade!!!

Was on the Wilson train at first now I’m on the Mac Jones train.

Wilson just has some manziel to his game that scares me.

Manziel’s game wasn’t the problem, his head was. Disrespectful to compare Wilson to him in that regard.

Wilson is starting to look unattainable, why would Jets trade those picks for Watson if they could get a cheap potential version of him with a bigger arm.

Bird in hand worth 2 in the bush.

"Can't miss" NFL draft prospects miss surprisingly often and just as often "hit" with a glancing blow.

Very true, but the risk reward for the cost is what should be measured.

More entertaining than any future Texans game with a 'stop gap' qb:

Because the jets are moving on from the QB they drafted ahead of Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. They should be feeling the pressure to not mess this up again, and send a god father type offer for Watson.

Because Deshaun is a proven superstar. You have no idea how a draft pick will turn out

I think calling Deshaun Watson a "proven superstar" is hyperbole. He is a really good player. But a proven superstar suggests he has a track record of winning in the playoffs and is a top 3 positional player. He has only 1 playoff win and he is not in the top 3 of quarterbacks in the NFL. He also is coming off a 4-12 season last year.

    Fair?

I’m not denying that. But the cost is high, if it was just one pick I could see your argument. It’s going to take 3-4 firsts. That’s a high price to pay when you can take Wilson, the potential is there and it’s intoxicating.

So there are maybe 1-2 “proven stars” at each position.

    As your defined requirement is:
    - Top three positional player; and
    - Track record of winning in the playoffs

    Players automatically disqualified include
    - CMC
    - Mack
    - Zeke
    - TJ Watt
