Suggs = complete package. Leadership, passing, vision, DEFENSE, clutch - this is the guy that makes all other players better. A true gamer who has the killer instinct to win. He is in a class of his own in terms of 2021 draft prospects. His usage rate is far lower than it should be because Gonzaga has so many talented college players (Timme, Kispert, Ayayi, etc). In the more open NBA game, this guy is going to be amazing. He is a quarterback on the court.
That charge at the end of regulation was a game breaker. I wanted UCLA to score so bad and take it. Nail biter to the end. What a game, and what a heartbreaking way to lose with that final shot. UCLA almost pulled off the upset of all upsets so far. Gotta give those guys kudos for giving the best team in the country such a challenge. Let's hope Baylor can do that.
Great game. UCLA did everything Houston needed to do. Wasn't enough. This should push Gonzaga through a tough moment in the Final, but Baylor can see a path now. Should be a good final and both teams have earned their right to play in it.
What Suggs did was pretty damn amazing. When the ping pong lottery sets our position I'll be pretty deep in film, nice talent to be had in this draft.
And it wasn't just Suggs with that and the winner that was doing BDM's down the stretch, but Timme too, and for the Bruins Juzang and Riley
Man that game was UCLA for the taking, them dudes had 3 chances. Juzang balled Juzang was getting his own shot at will. I think they would've won in double OT. Also that charge call at the end of regulation hurt too.
Maybe it was just me wanting UCLA to pull off the upset, but I thought that charge at the end should have either been a foul on Timme or a no call. I swear when I watched the replay Timme was still moving and not totally squared up. Probably could have went either way. I know the announcers were giddy about it as it was evident they were clearly in favor of a championship game between Gonzaga and Baylor. In any case I thought it was a valiant effort by UCLA. The type of effort I thought UH would have put forward against Baylor.
I think we all knew the Spanish version would be the best. Give it up for Rafa “El Alcalde” Hernández Brito!
I was rooting for UCLA. That charge call burst my bubble of glee. I thought they were going to win it in those last seconds.
Think it's funny that the media still refuses to pronounce their name correctly. I mean, everyone adapts after a short adjustment period, but when it comes to Gonzaga, they are all like f' it. We like the wrong version better.
