I find it stupid that the NCAA tournament lists 4 geographical regions as categories. What's the point of calling them East, West, South and Midwest? They might as well change the names. You have teams like Virginia in the East, Wisconsin in the South, teams from the east and west coast in the Midwest, and all the Texas teams spread across 3 regions. Somehow TSU is East, North Texas is South, and Houston is Midwest...lol.
First college tournament basketball game in over 700 days just tipped off. Texas Southern against Mount Saint Mary's. We are sure to get a steady diet of college BB the next few weeks. Can't believe it is finally here. Beats watching the Rockets tankathon any day.
It's that time of year again where I think about getting a Capitol One credit card and switching to Allstate.

Had Arkansas won that tournament, people would have been picking them to win the NCAA championship. So what a fickle crowd. I don't see how Colgate can win this game having played a shiot schedule and limited athletes.
The big plan for Colgate is simply to hit threes and hope for the best. So far... it's working. Smart strategy for this tournament... some underdog always wins a first round game after hitting 100 threes. With them only playing like 5 opponents or whatever they're saying... a get lucky strategy seems like your best chance.
