How come you feel bad for him though? I mean CP3 has had several opportunities to get the Suns over the hump on Milwaukee. The Suns have been on top a lot this series, but yet can't close out the game. I'd feel bad if he had another devastating injury that caused him to miss time in the finals, but instead he is relatively healthy (all players are banged up), and the main guys on his team are healthy. I can't really feel bad for him. He needs to be better.
It feels to me that Milwaukee is just the better team - albeit slightly. Even in the first two games, it felt like Milwaukee played better (especially game 2). Phoenix just had hot shooting on difficult shots; once they came back to earth, they couldn't win. Milwaukee is controlling the type of shots that Phoenix is getting.
So D'Andre Jordan and maybe others don't count? Jordan was with the Clippers and the Nets when they blew 2-0 leads.
I agree with you. Middleton or Jrue can have an awful game and this goes back to Phoenix if Booker continues how he is playing and CP3 takes his head out of his ass.
Suns need to reconsider taking more threes. Bucks is not over helping on the drives, which seems to result Suns passing up 3pt shots. Sun's corner three attempts went down. And if Devon is the one cooking he can add more threes with his midrange. They need the math on their side. Bridges is one of their better defenders, but if on Middleton, Monty need to figure out Bucks's counter: using the two man game: Middleton and Giannis. Bucks intentionally put Giannis onto Bridges to feast. Bridges is better on Jrue or Khris. Aside from Ayton, Monty need to find something else. Crowder may not be the answer. Maybe they do miss Sacric.
Unfortunately for the Suns, Booker is only a slightly. better than average three point shooter. I think they're in a pretty tough spot.
Well, Jrue already had two great shooting games in this series. It's not unreasonable to believe that he has used up his quota. Middleton on the other hand is unpredictable. He can stay hot for several games, or he can disappear. Maybe he will be killing it and steal the FMVP from Giannis like Iggy did a few years back.
The only good thing about being the worst team in the league is you don't have to worry about this kind of BS. I actually wonder if the 0-12 narrative got so much airtime that they're going to have Foster tank it; end the streak and give a game 7, win-win...
