You right. He was awesome from midrange. Tucker was Curry from 3. Jrue was Durant from midrange.

I'm going to respectfully disagree, if the Suns can get a 2nd guy (scorer). I think they'll be alright and might can get back to the Finals. They have the pieces and the cap space to go get another star, especially if CP3 leaves.

hehhe...you may call it whatever you want, they were 2pt shots from 10-12 feet away from the rim...were they floaters, hookshots or jumpshots is irrelevant....this was a crucial area of the floor to use in order to secure the finals win

My point is, thats not a mid range shot and all teams in the league(including Harden and the Nets) still take that shot.

Agreed. I remember having a tortuously long debate with someone in the GARM some years back who kept insisting that Harden's floaters were mid-range shots.

Giannis at 26 is better at basketball than Harden ever was No matter how you want to spin it. Even if you about points, he just scored 50 in game 6 elimination game of NBA finals. More than Harden ever scored in playoffs. Its beautiful to see asses crack

also never forget that morey got beaten and thrown out of playoffs by a role player Huerter getting hot from midrange abusing his 3pt sniper curry who shot 45% on 3s for the series...what an irony...

harden may shot it from that area but he creates them in a totally different way, but ok ill give you that 3 shots out of 10 were floaters to avoid derailing my point...
Yannis still hit 7 midrangers (and there were cuople of and 1s with them if i recall well)...it was 15 or 16 huge points in 2 games(5 &6) where every single point was important and momentum breaker or momentum enabler....they lose both games without him hitting those shots harden would have never even took....harden can only dream of that production...if we are to replace yannis with harden, he would have gotten tired and resort to chucking 3s despite being cold and lost them the game

1 inspite the fact that the midrange is 'innefficient', when youre tired or out of rhythm its an easier shot to hit, to get back on track and its an injury free shot and doesnt take a lot of energy or playmaking to put it up
2 sometimes you just need momentum going or stopping
3 sometimes you just need scoreboard to keep moving
4 sometimes its all defenses will give you
5 you need midrange for better calibration of your shootin mechanism based in human nervous system, you need to feel out and probe the different distances so that your aiming mechanism get the proper feedback
6 sometimes its all you need ie when its a last minute or the last shot

You seriously comparing the Lakers to the Bucks? One is an entitled big market snob. The other is a small market team that had not won for 5 decades.

Your statement shows that you have no clue why so many of us are happy the Lakers aren't in the finals. And there are no Bucks bandwagoners here. Only people who show respect for a team that just won. I do see lots of Nets bandwagoners on this board throughout the season.
