Hahah well that’s comparing him in a negative way. Nova is still a high ceiling kid. And fwiw over his last 10 games he’s had better production: .368/.429/.605, although that still came with 16 k in 42 pa.
He has been pretty good this month (.816 ops). And his June was better than his May. So maybe he’s just developing slower than expected.
Lee and Leon should both be 55 FV prospects or higher by the end of the season if they keep their current trajectories. Meyers should be a 50 FV if he keeps hitting as well. they probably won’t be by Fangraphs though.
Luke Berryhill went 2-4 plus a walk. Up to a .296/.426/.630 line. Hopefully he gets promoted to Asheville soon.
Would like to see Lee and Leon hit some homers the other way, seems like everything is to the pull side
Considering Bart had a 50 FV on him, I'd guess Lee will be a 50 FV for FanGraphs. Though, I doubt Lee keeps his K rate under 10% in AA. Leon, doubt he gets a bump until he gets K rate down. Meyers, FanGraphs has called him out as under the radar. I doubt Meyers will be in the Astros organization and that he will be a prospect the next time they update their grades.
Is there something I'm missing here? I completely forgot about this dude. He had good numbers and with all the relief problems we've had why didn't he get a shot?
Yeah I don’t understand it either. They traded for him, then he performed well in AAA (although he was rarely used). Seems like a wasted move.
