    Bryan De La Cruz hit two homers tonight, giving him nine on the year. The 9 homers are a new career-high and it took him 46 games to get there. His previous career-high was 8 (in 105 games) in 2019.

    Matthew Barefoot had a three-run homer (12) in Asheville's 12-0 win over Hickory.

    Down in the FCL... Miguel Palma and Ricardo Balogh homered for the Palm Beach 'Stros.

    Palma showed a little pop in the DSL with four homers in his pro debut in 2019.

    Balogh, who also debuted in 2019, had a slightly rougher time as he hit .186 without any extra-base hits in 47 games. Guess he showed enough in Dominican instructs to warrant a move to the United States.
