If Bayern really gets this done, a few apologies to Salihamidzic are due (even though Nagelsmann and Kahn probably played a strong part as well).

De Ligt would be great, I agree. But Brazzo still needs to sell a few folks, and find a replacement for Lewy.

I didn't even know Uruguay had a new young hard hitter, has he been on the national team?

Lewy to Barca confirmed. 4 year contract. 45+5m EUR for Bayern.

He left because of Nagelsmann. He doesn't respect Nagelsmann. Other players feel similarly.

I'd rather see these guys leave, we've had a ton of issues with players feuding against coaches after Heynckes left and thinking they're above everything.

If Nagelsmann doesn't deliver after all these new signings he should be sacked, but right now this restructuring is the best choice imo and we have to catch up with the more technical and modern approaches clubs like Liverpool, City and Chelsea have.

I agree - Lewy is also at an age where I think if you can still get 50m and he wants to leave, you just take the money.

I would still like for us to get a real 9 though. Not sure what can still be had on the market.

So a lot of movement lately... Gnabry re-signs, Lewandowski out and with the millions he generated, de Ligt's addition should be a done deal soon. Pretty rough to lose Lewy, he's been more or less our life insurance these past two years at least. Don't like playing without a proper central forward at all. None of the available strikers is a decent solution, think I've read that Nagelsmann plans to start Mané or Gnabry in the middle now.
On the other hand, like ATW said... if you can cash in €50M for a grumpy 34-year old, you gotta do it. Too bad he wanted this trash club that for years now has to make new debts just to pay the old ones and still spends absurd sums on players. Hope Bayern insisted on the immediate payment, no instalments.

    I guess we'll go with

    Neuer
Upamecano - de Ligt - Hernandez
    Mazraoui - Kimmich - Goretzka - Davies
    Müller - Mané - Coman

    or

    Neuer
Mazraoui - de Ligt - Hernandez - Davies
    Kimmich - Goretzka
    Gnabry - Müller - Coman
    Mané

now. Still looks good to me.

Apparently sending our 3rd offer for Mathys Tel from Rennes today, 17yr old striker/winger the French guys are saying is one of their best talents since Mbappe and has a similar style to him or Henry.

From what I've heard there's no truth to it, he just changed the agency because his personal agent left and took him with. Would be stupid to give up on Upa after one year.

Excellent transfer summer. Now use the coming months to secure a new number 9 for 2023/24.

    This Mathis Tel any good?

If we get him, I'm satisfied with this transfer window as far as additions go. Our defense looks pretty rock solid.

Get rid of Bouna Sarr, Sabitzer, Zirkzee please.

    We don't need Laimer.

Started watching some of his performances, seems to have a pretty good build-up play and uses his strong body very well for his age.
Seems pretty fast too and always looks for teammates. Can understand the Henry or Mbappe comparisons, could develop into a really good striker that is part of the possession game and doesn't rely on midfielders passing to him in the box.

Spanish agents saying Barca faked the 45+5mil thing and in reality it's 45mil fixed+10mil for just spending a season with Barca, then an additional 5mil for entering CL.
So we pretty much got 60mil guaranteed for Lewy, awesome deal and shows how desperate Barca are for big names atm.

Goretzka out for 6-8weeks after knee surgery, should probably speed up the Laimer negotiations.
Goretzka's knee issues becoming quite worrying in recent years, hope he doesn't turn into Tolisso 2.0.

Has yet to score on senior level, so only time will tel(l).

But people praise him as some kind of new Thierry Henry.

67mil guaranteed sum split into four years, great deal for us.

Also had Brazzo, Neppe and Gerlinger in Rennes today to possibly seal the Tel deal, rumoredly 25-30mil incl boni.
