    I'd say Barca either finds a way or he ends up at PSG. City has said they're out and they're likely the only other team that can afford him. Man, I'd love United to get him but I know that ain't happening.

    City is after Kane so yeah. Also the City owners want to ship him to the MLS in his 3rd year while he can still kick the ball until he is 39 in Europe to be honest.

    They just spent over $100m on Lukaku who’s apparently due in London tomorrow for a medical. Would be surprising for them to shell out that much more for Messi.

    I have zero sympathy for barcelona and their fans for losing messi. They are part of the problem when it comes to the widening gap in football. Its the same club that absolutely condemned Leganes to relegation with that Braithwaite signing. Its all on them for not having their finances in check.

    Blessing in disguise for Barcelona, IMO. Not just financially either. I'm interested to see how PSG does in the Champions League and how Messi meshes with Mbappe and Neymar.

    It's never straight forward with these clubs, there is more to it. Power play, rights and such.

    I doubt Ramos and Messi will be enough to win the CL convincingly, they are pretty old now.

    Those teams always forget about the glue guys and top defenders.

    It's just Pro Evolution or FIFA All Star selection.

    I look forward to Donarumma though.

    Messi was still the best player in the world last year though. Aging is very non-linear, but I'm sure he'll still be great.

    Winning the CL is hard, and a lot of it has to do with luck. City has had one of the best squads in the history of the game for 5 years, and hasn't won the CL.

    My personal theory is that Messi noped out after he saw Barcelona's kits. I think PSG must pay Nike some money to be the only European club with consistently great looking shirts.
