2021-22 City Uniform Ideas

That we can all agree on, it’s at least decent looking.

 

No matter what our unis look like, people are going to complain

 

Both the Hawks and Pistons returned to their traditional colors. Not sure why the Rockets love red, black, and gray.

I think updated championship era jerseys would look sweet but what do I know?

 

But this one it looks like they can't agree on which old one to use so they decided to mix them together.

 

Those Phoenix ones are fire.

 

When are the city unis being worn?

 

Below is the list of all 12 games the Rockets will wear their Nike NBA City Edition uniforms for this season:

- Saturday, Jan. 1 vs. Denver at 7 p.m.
- Friday, Jan. 7 vs. Dallas at 7 p.m.
- Friday, Jan. 28 vs. Portland at 7 p.m.
- Thursday, Feb. 10 vs. Toronto at 7 p.m.
- Friday, March 11 vs. Dallas at 7 p.m.
- Friday, March 18 vs. Indiana at 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 1 vs. Sacramento at 7 p.m.

NBA still stopping us from returning to the red and mustard. They saw it's power in 94/95. Instead lets trot out these ugly blue pinstripe uniforms.

 

Court is not as bad as I expected but the uniforms are worse. Too much going on with the stripes and the red leg things. I kept wondering why they had hams strapped to their thighs.

 

I honestly liked them. Much better than the baby blue garbage we had last year.

I'd still have liked a better rendition of the baby blue with MUCH more red, baby blue work work great as a tertiary in an alternate jersey. But a dildo Rockets throwback works too I guess

 

Court looks solid, though not a fan of that Houston wordmark - neither on the jersey and on the court, but on the latter it's worse. They played it safe so it's all good. The jersey is fine, but along with the shorts it's just way too much as you say. If the shorts had no stripes, at least on the sides where they have the current logo then it would've worked way better.
