The Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix this is something that has been getting good reviews, and I really don’t know why it’s not scary, and it’s really not all that creepy it was just boring I felt they could’ve trimmed this thing by 2 or 3 episodes...the pace was slow, and it just seemed to drag at times I also found some of the fake accents to be annoying, especially Carla Gugino when she was narrating
Money Heist has been pretty good if you look past some braindead characters you want to endlessly smack.
Rewatching 24...… My girlfriend's first time encountering Jack Bauer. This show was awesome and very binge-able.
Watched Cobra Kai, Upload, rewatched The Grinder, Happy Endings, The Witcher, and started catching up with Justified, Dark, Utopia, Letterkenney, Haunting of Bly Manor, and a ton of movies.
Grand Army on Netflix. It's basically right in the middle of the Degrassi/Euphoria teen show spectrum (Euphoria is freaking bleak, man). I'm shocked it isn't doing better on Netflix, especially with shows like 13 Reasons and The Outer Banks blowing up. I mean, I can take a guess why it isn't blowing up... This is scratching my Degrassi dumb teen angst itch. I need a season 2
That and Better Off Ted are off the top of my head the 2 network comedies I really liked that didn't get the love they deserved.
The rest of Supernatural again now that it's back. Also Buzzfeed Unsolved Mysteries. Love that show. It's not like high production value, but they mix murder and comedy in a fun way.
LoveCraft Country I recommend it 8/10 Ending could have been better but it was worth the watch On HBO Rocket River
Does the action ramp up throughout the series? I was midway through season 1 and it seemed to be more about politics, so I'm not sure whether to continue.
I wanted to really love this show, but man, it has totally lost me. I'll finish it one of these days. Now I'm much more interested in Fargo.
There really is not a lot of action but its usually well done. If you are not invested in the characters it's probably not for you.
Ah okay, I just looked at the promo posters and thought it would be some sci-fi action/horror. I'm okay with dialogue-heavy shows, so I'll stick with it for now and see how I feel after the end of season 1.
The action picks up quite a bit the last two episodes of season 1. Seasons 2 and 3 it is more sporadic but the middle two episodes of Season 3 (the season is split story wise between the first and second half) is very intense action wise.
