If Biden wins Collin County, then Dems comfortably win the state house, and win at least 5 Congressional districts. And who knows, they might even win a statewide race or two. Republicans have no path to a majority in Texas if they're losing places like Collin County.

Morning Consult does polling. That poll was from the last week of October.

It’s on its way just like the wall paid by Mexico, the repealed and replaced Obamacare best health plan evar!, and the national debt paid down.

Seriously other than cutting taxes for the rich and corporate did Trump accomplish any of his promises?

Florida is actually looking better than I thought. The Eday vote has been less Republican than expected. Republicans are still leading but they're not getting the blowout numbers that they need (unless NPA voters go for Trump). Still a few hours to go but I'm feeling ok about Florida.

Democrats are amazingly voting in larger numbers than Republicans on election day in both Broward and Miami-Dade which is good because they were underperforming in both places based on early/mail in counts. The Democratic advantage in Broward has actually grown over the course of election day which is pretty wild as well.

Heh... guess he couldn't find it in himself to either vote for his party or his country, so passed.

That wasn't one of Trump's promises. That was Mitch being Mitch.

He did a few things he promised.
    • Withdrew from the Paris Agreement
    • Withdrew from TPP trade Agreement
    • Renegotiated NAFTA
    • Began stripping Obamacare (got rid of the individual mandate through executive order)
      • He may achieve getting rid of the law if SCOTUS rules in favor.
    • Nominated conservative justices (we can give McConnell plenty of credit here)
    • Isolated the country by alienating us from our NATO allies and asked them to pay their fair share
    • He was tough on immigration and his zero-tolerance policies may have discouraged more asylum seekers from coming to the US.
    • Built 16 miles of new wall and reinforced several hundred miles of already built wall
      • Mexico didn't pay for it, failed to deliver that promise, but he did start the project even if he didn't get the congressional funding he was looking for.
I guess if you are a republican, you can feel proud of those things.

Still a huge uphill battle, but either it will be an incredible upset victory for Biden or further progress in the right direction.

I think FL will go Biden. I feel Democrats are playing it very safe this year and giving Trump the false hope he is doing much better than he is. I still feel like we will have a fairly good idea by midnight.

Texas is not going Biden. You suggesting it pretty much confirms.

I do give credit to Hidalgo and friends for making it much easier to vote this time around and investing in infrastructure to be able to open so many polling locations. It's great that you can go vote anywhere on election day rather than some designated site based on your address.

If Biden wins Texas the election is over. It doesn't matter about the rest of the states.

Biden winning Texas is like the Rockets winning the NBA championship. I know, I know.... (sigh...)

    Seems like a half-baked decision.
