This is where we are as a country right now. trump building a protective barrier around the White House. And the decision to stay barricaded inside his bunker on the night of the election, instead of a taxpayer-paid gala event at one of his hotels? Perhaps a sign he doesn't think he will win?

It's funny how his supporters do not care about this. These sorts of moves should be concerning for anybody that cares about democracy, whether you are blue, red, purple, green, etc.

A national poll of Americans ages 18 to 29 released Monday by the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School found that enthusiasm for voting in 2020 is on par with 2008, a historic election for youth turnout as Barack Obama swept into the White House with a Democratic Congress. This year, Democratic nominee Joe Biden leads Republican President Donald Trump 63% to 25% among young voters most likely to vote, the poll showed.

In the 2018 midterms, turnout among voters ages 18 to 29 more than doubled from 2014, and they overwhelmingly backed Democrats.

youth vote in TX has increased astronomically this election

    let’s see what this means

With progressive causes such as gun control and climate change bringing louder battle cries from young voters, and competitive races in traditionally conservative states like Texas and Georgia, 28.2% of eligible youth voters went to the polls in 2018. That's compared with 13% of eligible young voters who voted in the 2014 midterms, according to research from the nonpartisan Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at the Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University. Voters 30 and older increased their turnout as well, but only by 10 percentage points.

Democratic congressional candidates won 67% of voters ages 18 to 29 in 2018 – a greater than 2-to-1 margin than the 32% of young people who voted for Republicans.

Would be funny if a large minority of these people flipped their votes after these experiences. Kind of like Trump campaigning for Biden.

Also, if it's anything like the border wall, the wind will blow it down, people will saw through it, or dig under it. Nothing this administration has done has proven that they know what an "impenetrable wall" is.

He is lying. He has been saying it for months.

He learned that the truth doesn't matter if you throw so many falsehoods out there that individual voters cannot fact check everything.

Trump is a symptom of a larger problem in America.
