Even worse, it was an event to role out “Blexit” basically blacks and minorities to leave the Dems. Had Candace Owens there who was paying to fly people there. Minorities have higher infection and death rates...basically, this is a big eff you to minorities as they are putting them in high danger.
And on a personal note... my wife's brother and sister in law are coming for another month They were here for a month early in the pandemic. Staunch trump supporters. So if I am not here, you know why.
Good lord, during the election? Wow! I don't envy you. That's inhuman! Seven months ago, when I was still playing trivia once a week at a pub by the Driskill Hotel here in Austin, our team consisted of two liberal Democrats and two conservative Republicans. We'd been playing together for 10 years and we got along great because we had a tacit agreement to never talk politics. Maybe you can convince them to just skip politics altogether. It sounds like a nightmare. Torture! Good luck. You'll need it!
My gosh... brother in-law and his wife showed up last night. First thing out of his mouth... how the MI governor kidnapping attempt was by a group of liberals... or at least that was what he read. My oldest daughter (doesn't always follow my "no politics discussions" rule) corrected him, and showed the reporting with pictures... he was forced to admit it was a "crazy bunch of militia types" but I suspect he still believes Democrats were involved. Then he switched to talk about a new facebook group he joined called "opentexas". btw, they don't live in Texas (thankfully), just visit here for months at a time. This is what I face for the next month...
The US couldn’t do better is what some said concerning the covid. What if the single largest driver of covid misinformation is eliminated? Would the US do better? Link The study, to be released Thursday, is the first comprehensive examination of coronavirus misinformation in traditional and online media. “The biggest surprise was that the president of the United States was the single largest driver of misinformation around Covid,” said Sarah Evanega, the director of the Cornell Alliance for Science and the study’s lead author. “That’s concerning in that there are real-world dire health implications.”
My in laws are coming in today so I feel the pain. Just make sure you put the parental controls in Fox. I do that because in the past it’s just utter tv domination.
