The trendline looks like it was updated just this morning since last posted. That said the lead is still down from late June and early July when it was a 10+ lead. It has risen a bit in the last week but that may be due to a bounce from naming Harris and the convention. I think we will have to wait for till after the conventions to get a definitive picture.
By your own numbers you'r showing a drop. If he was 8.9 two months ago, he was actually higher than that, but he is now down to 7.6% as of this morning with the bump of a convention and naming a VP giving him a slight rise shows that support softening somewhat. Further I never said the August number is the most valid or the June numbers. I gave an explanation of why the CNN poll was the way it was what CNN themselves stated that it was due to a change in white voters. I even said it was likely an outlier. That said I still stand by my previous argument. Trump still has a decent chance to win this election. As stated I still put it around 30%. Just using the numbers provided it should be concerning that with the bumps Biden has gotten in the last week he's not really gaining.
It's also up since early June. Bidens numbers have been very steady about a 1% differential since June so he is not really losing voters. I still don't see where numbers will naturally change either way don't see that many undecided voters or voters who will switch.
Well, there's always whatever October surprise that Devin Nunes and Ron Johnson are cooking up with Russian disinformation. We'll see how it all shakes out, but never, ever underestimate the stupidity of the average American voter. "I'll vote Joe Biden, he would have handled this pandemic better, much better." BREAKING NEWS....Joe Biden using Ukranian prostitutes to implant microchips in Americans' "prison wallets" while they sleep! "KEEP AMERICA GREAT! TRUMP, all the way!"
I think the Senate report has cut the legs out from anything they can do, I am surprised it's not a bigger thing.
A core part of America's democracy has been the peaceful transfer from administration to administration. Of course, trump...
While you're bulls***tin'.........I'm stunned it's not a bigger thing. It's an afterthought click on CNN. Hell, CNN made easier click-bait out of Rebel Wilson's weight loss. Even CNN has given up. Unless they don't want to overshadow the DNC, but what excuse is that?
I don't see a meaningful difference between a 8.9 and an 8.5 percent victory, if that's what it ended up being , or the trend line from 8.9 to 8.5, unless the election is held in December 2021 But I am not at all surprised that you do, it's just like 2016 after all in your world, and that you're citing intraday micromovements in polling averages, which is usually way more reflective of which outlier polls were the latest to be released.
I'm kinda glad its not because it really is background noise for the real issue of voting Trump out, nobody is gonna change their vote because of this and it becomes a bit of Marsha, Marsha, Marsha and can have people just say **** it and not vote. I was really surprised it got released at all and makes me think it was FU from MCconnell since Trump is giving no cover to senators.
Life is much less stressful with Trump in ignore. I get that he's the President, but anything significant enough (trust me) will.make the headlines.
