Just keep this in mind when thinking about who to vote for... the incumbent president of the United States wants American cities left to rot...

CNN poll shows the race is tightening:

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/16/politics/cnn-poll-biden-trump-august/index.html

(CNN) Joe Biden's lead over Donald Trump among registered voters has significantly narrowed since June, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, even as the former vice president maintains an advantage over the President on several top issues and his choice of California Sen. Kamala Harris as a running mate earns largely positive reviews.

And on the eve of the party conventions, a majority of voters (53%) are "extremely enthusiastic" about voting in this year's election, a new high in CNN polling in presidential election cycles back to 2003.

Overall, 50% of registered voters back the Biden-Harris ticket, while 46% say they support Trump and Pence, right at the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points. Among the 72% of voters who say they are either extremely or very enthusiastic about voting this fall, Biden's advantage over Trump widens to 53% to 46%. It is narrower, however, among those voters who live in the states that will have the most impact on the electoral college this fall.

Isn't that the truth. I wonder if Putin has promised him a cush job and exile if he gets charged for any criminal offenses down the road.

Democrats should not. He’s right. Joe is given to have gaffs at less than ideal times in a campaign. He’s going to step in dog poop at least 2 more times before November and his campaign needs to be prepared for it. It’s just part of who Joe Biden is for better or worse.

Kamalas role will be incredibly important now to try and create clear enough messaging for Biden and her to be very repetitive in their message so Joe stays on track. She needs to be using that prep time with him mostly to have a partner in working on consistent talk tracks and messaging that can be rinse repeat so Joe doesn’t go free wheelin till November.

True, but his competition rolls in dog poop as you say almost every day. Nobody could do worse leading this country right now, nobody.

Agreed 200%. However the issue is the media, and if for some weird reason Trump has 2 hours in day where he's not threatening Democracy, the media will act as though he cured cancer. Good ole Chuck Todd and his inability to not discuss Trump's "New Tone". Trump is graded on a curve like nobody else, and the media cannot help themselves but want to play both sides any chance they can get if Biden gives them an opening.

Don't believe me.... just watch how they treat the "Durham Report."

LOL... trump and his supporters suddenly like polls, especially CNN polls.

Though they don't like the other polls...

Its clear the race is tightening... which it should as people lock into their party choices.

    Best to average polls...
