This is totally fascinating and terrifying at the same time. I think though the main thing to keep in mind though that could put some Democrats at ease is that you would have to have top to bottom GOP coordination for them to have any success in contesting the election. Yes... it's obvious Trump will claim whatever he's going to claim, but his real power to do anything will take efforts by the individual states with GOP leaders to successfully NOT certify the election in any way that can stand intense litigation.... which would be emergency sessions, and have a willing partner in the Supreme Court which will most likely be the arbiter of any dispute between the states, congress, and the Trump campaign. The Trump campaign moving mountains to put a mentally ill Kanye West on the ticket in Wisconsin and Colorado tells us that they are prepared to pull any dirty trick they can in the runnup and there's no low they wouldn't stoop to in order to hold onto power.... but still important to keep in mind how incredibly difficult this would be to pull off a successful contest. VOTE THEM OUT
From what we've seen so far this makes sense to me. I've been predicting that there will be violence and chaos around this election for awhile. We've already been seeing that protests turning into riots, the use of federal authorities, and provocateurs among protesters from white supremacist and Neo-Nazi groups. All the people showing up armed for BLM and anti-lockdown protests are piling tinder on a smoldering fire.

And all this for a "President" who is little more than a sub-literate grifter who would rather burn the country and its institutions down (let alone democracy) to keep himself out of handcuffs. Get reelected, resign, let Pence take over with the stipulation that he is pardoned for anything brought against him, go make jillions on the right-wing propaganda circuit.

Actually none of those are even remotely comparable to Biden's mental failings. Trump says literally 1000x the number of words in public compared to Biden... and this is the best you can do. Biden can't go 5 minutes without forgetting what he was saying multiple times. It's a night vs day comparison. Only the absolute most partisan 5-10% of liberals would think that Trump vs Biden on a cognitive test would be comparable. Of course, we may never find out, because Biden might dodge the debates and we all know Biden won't take a cognitive test. Trump took the cognitive test, and aced it.
