    Individual rebounding numbers aren't that meaningful. Team rebounding percentage is the key.

    and fwiw: OREB% is not as meaningful as DREB%, either.

    OREB% can be directly affected by your system philosopy...and adversely (by going down). Adversely meaning it's been proven that OREB numbers inversely track with Opponent Transition buckets. (I believe it was JVG who proved it, as league-wide numbers started dropping in that era.) By devaluing OReb%, you can increase transition defense and improve DRtg, with marginal impact on ORtg. That's why we saw a drastic (and steady) drop in OREB% numbers league-wide, as analytics gained a foothold to confirm Off Rebounds are over-valued.

    I think the first championship team wasnt ranked highly in rebounding
