    That was Rick Smith. Great 1st's terrible mid round picks. We'll see how this pans out, but a lot of the mocks I've seen projected this guy in the 2nd.

    Judging offensive linemen is hard.

    A LOT Of smart people are high on this kid.

    However, they all say he's a developmental guy and I'm not at all convinced we have a good offensive line coach to actually develop anyone.

    The reaction reminds me of JJ Watt. People were livid we passed on Robert Quinn and the DT from auburn. He has the tools to develop into a solid player. The last converted TE to LT we drafted turned out pretty good so I’ll hold judgement

    I am big on Tytus, but I can't believe we couldn't have traded down & picked up an extra 3rd or 4th.
    At least there was no way anyone could trade in front of us for him!

    Hoping he's our next DB (Duane Brown).
    No one knew how good he would be either!

    People on this board fall in love with NAMES. NAMES they know......not necessarily the best players for the team. With Dillard off the board, Texans went with the best player for THEM.

    Sit on all that cap space during free agency hyping up the draft as the proper way to build a team just to get outmaneuvered on draft day losing the player that we wanted smh
