Oops. I didn't mean to say hand size. I meant arm length. And like I've been saying before, it's not the only reason. Since Clutchfans doesn't forget anything lol, let's nail down the idea that I've settled into. 1. I think he will be a very good tackle. 2. I believe he would be even better if he played guard 3. I believe he is still going to be drafted very high 4. wherever he plays on the line, he'll be just fine. 5. A lot depends on the system and coaching. I just added #5 now but I'm fine with my name being attached to this opinion.
Not sure he even worked out at the combine. This is from Miami's pro day: Johnson was timed at between 4.42-4.48, according to three scouts, in his first 40-yard dash. On the second, he ran between 4.37-4.40, scouts said. He also recorded a 41-inch vertical jump, a long jump of 10-feet, 9-inches, and a time of about 4.10 seconds in the short shuttle drill. Notable was that Johnson, universally assessed as one of the top two wide receivers in this year's draft pool, was measured at 6-feet-1 7/8 and at 224 pounds. That is one-eighth of an inch shorter, and six pounds lighter, than he was at the recent NFL combine.

#Texans have met with Greedy, Murphy, Ya-Sin, JoeJuan, assume Baker too. CB will be a high priority – expect more clarity in how they see this class vs the OT vs the DL/LB classes over the coming weeks. Will dictate top-2 picks. They can get value picks for RB, OG on day 3 — StanfordKP (@stanfordkp) March 3, 2019 Penn St. CB Amani Oruwariye says he had an informal meeting with the #Texans at the combine. — Mark Lane (@therealmarklane) March 3, 2019 UH CB Isaiah Johnson Meeting with #Texans here at #NFLCombine.
