Observations so far. Don't think any of these are overreactions.

Armenteros looked solid and will be a lot of fun to follow this spring.

Boshers could make the team as a left handed reliever. Looked solid in his first inning.

Stassi with a legit HR. Would love him to have a strong spring.

I will also add in that the umpire needs spring training just as much as the players. Several very questionable strike/ball calls so far. Not that it matters but have always found it interesting how you never really think about spring training being useful for the umpires as well.

You could see the power in Stassi's bat last year. Probably part of the reason there was no big push made to get Realmuto.

Armenteros looks great. They didn't have the velocity on screen, but Blum said he was hitting 94. And his changeup seemed to be pretty deceptive. Dude did nothing but dominate last year, we gotta find him some innings.

2 really good swings from Fisher here to start.

He'd have to be added to the 40 man but if Gose doesn't make the team, Armenteros could take his spot.

He looks like he could do spot starting when the regular starters take scheduled DL rest.

Who has the most potential in this lineup today?

    Don’t count Bregman.

For some reason that combination of a fastball around 94 and a really good changeup has me wondering if maybe he could end up being a Devo-type of reliever one day for us. Just a thought.

What’s Jakes ceiling? Defensive stud / average hitter?

I think he starts on like 90% of teams in baseball.

Tucker just got an AB in the 6th inning. Hit a sharp line drive to left center field on the first pitch but Robles (one of top prospects in baseball) made a great diving catch. Hope to see Tucker get at least one more AB.

He had a RC+ of 117 last year so he was about 17 percent better than the average hitter. If he could do that over 600 plate appearances, you are talking a 3.5 WAR player with his defense. He likely won't do that, but I think that is his potential and it comes with a much more likely high floor.

Here’s the base hit that Tucker had robbed by Robles

Effortless type of swing we are accustomed to seeing. Tucker has star written all over him. Blum is spot on with the assessment. Nice catch by Robles too.

Start the year like we ended last year... with a WIN! Love the AT&T Sportsnet app... unfortunately, found out late in the game.
