I’m all for trading up and getting a late 1st caliber guy. We need depth but if you feel like you can go get a pro bowl caliber player opposed to sitting around waiting for a borderline starter it’s worth it every time. They can trade into the 2nd with a 3rd and a 4th; and then trade one of the other 3rds for two fourths. They end up with same number of picks ( a 2nd, a 3rd, 2 4ths, 3 6ths, and a 7th).
