I’m all for trading up and getting a late 1st caliber guy. We need depth but if you feel like you can go get a pro bowl caliber player opposed to sitting around waiting for a borderline starter it’s worth it every time. Also, hopefully Gaine can recognize fools good. Rick Smith would just take the biggest name left on the board like they weren’t falling for a reason. Brennan Williams, Sam Montgomery, Louis Nix, Strong, Braxton, D’onta..
lol How about these for rookie, average, old man, and bust? Saquan Barkley. AJ Bouye. Tom Brady. Whitney Mercilus
Keep the picks. Texans have a lot of holes to fill. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...-round-impacts-Texans-draft-plan-12868231.php The Texans' biggest priorities in the draft should be finding an offensive tackle and tight end in the third round. They have eight picks, including three in the third and sixth rounds. The Texans also need a safety, cornerback, running back, outside linebacker, inside linebacker and defensive end.
They can trade into the 2nd with a 3rd and a 4th; and then trade one of the other 3rds for two fourths. They end up with same number of picks ( a 2nd, a 3rd, 2 4ths, 3 6ths, and a 7th).
