I would rather one in FA but if not, they will need to get one in the later rounds of the draft. I think it would be better to get veteran backup QB and RB. You can do with a rookie RB though with Lamar Miller on the team.
Need to add RB options as Miller was never a fit for our offense and Foreman may never return to the player he could have been before the Achilles. Hopefully Foreman puts the proper work in, as he did not last year. Maybe Richesson gets more out of him.
Among those who I verified had formal interviews with the Texans throughout the weekend: Texas safety DeShon Elliott Wake Forest safety Jessie Bates UCF CB Mike Hughes Boston College CB Isaac Yiadom LSU CB Donte Jackson
2nd place bench - 27 reps 3rd place forty - 4.52 7th place vertical - 36 inches 4th place broad jump - 10'5"
Some early numbers on Holton Hill: 6'3, 200 pounds. 4.49 Official 40. 14 reps on bench Looking good so far for Hill.
Man Holton Hill looks good, if he's there in the 3rd I'm picking him. I hope Gaine/BOB see the same things that I do.
What does very little movement off the line mean? That he ran a straight line? Lol... is that part hard??
Thinking more and more that Hill won't be available. If he stays clean, he's basically a Richard Sherman starter kit.
If he is there in the 3rd/4th do we take him with one of our 4 picks? I mean if we go all out in FA and draft a DB and OL. having him as a backup could be nice.
I hope not. I want Lamar to get an opportunity to start for someone. I could see OB maybe looking at Barrett in the late round.
