well it wasn't a charge and the funny thing is even though they weren't supposed to change, they got it correct.
That was a block foul, not even close. If you are not sure who got there first, consider this, the last step Durant took was way before James get there. and you are not allowed to take the landing space away from an offensive player, which was exactly what James did. The other obvious thing was his shoulder, it was side way when the contact happened, which is always an automatically block foul.
I think there is a good chance Lebron hits that shot. JR is just lying if he knew they were tied. Or he is just trying to throw the series.
NBA did their 2 minute review (thought they stopped doing these because it hurt the poor refs’ egos?) and declared that Green committed a clear lane violation during Hills 2nd FT, and thus Hill should have reshot it. That very well might have changed the entire outcome of the game. How is the NBA ok with this kind of incompetence? Isn’t one of the 3 refs supposed to simply stare at the lane during FTs? It boggles the mind.
JVG was saying they actually grade every call over the entire game, but only release the last two minutes publicly.
I hope klay misses the rest of the series. He wont though. Gsw never has their good players miss big games with injuries
Boggles the mind that the refs missed a lane violation? Watch the freethrows the next time. Lane violations literally happen on almost every reboundable FT. Also, they tend to only call them if the lane violator gets an advantage for his team (and they get the rebound) but in this case, the cavs got the rebound, so the violation didnt gain any advantage. The last thing the league needs is calling every lane violation that results in no advantage, or ticky-tack touch foul that has no bearing on the game, or every time a bench player's foot touches the court when celebrating a shot, or any of the other many types of "technically could be called 1000 times a game" situations.
Ive broken a foot (playing football), and had a severe ankle sprain playing baseball, and the initial pain isnt that great. The body hasnt really had time to respond. Ive been able to limp off the field, feeling that something is "wrong" but not knowing what. Then hours later the swelling and real pain begins, and the next day not even being able to think about putting weight on it.
