I'm shocked how good he's been so far. He's probably going to end up being the best player out of the 2018 mlb draft.
seriously? Was he that undervalued?... serious question ,don't know much about our prospects so it's cool to hear... but obviously still small sample size
Seth Beer just drew a walk to get on base 4 times today. Went from 0-2 to a walk, nice plate discipline.
Leovanny Rodriguez finished by allowing three hits, walking one, and striking out 10 over 5.2 shutout innings; it's the first time in his career that he's recorded double-digit strikeouts in a game.
Quad Cities is 1-17 with runners in scoring position but they have a 5-0 lead over Burlington heading into the final frame. They've walked 12 times and struck out 15 times tonight.
Leovanny Rodriguez, who has 62k and only 14bb in 46.2 IP, probably doesn’t rank in the top 40 pitching prospects in the system. The pitching depth in Houston’s farm is truly amazing right now.
After walking in his first two plate appearances of the night, Abraham Toro just cleared the bases with a double to give Corpus a 3-2 lead.
Correct. All of those guys, especially the guys with the A teams, doing extremely well has helped immensely, especially with... - J.B. Bukauskas pretty much having a lost year - Francis Martes falling flat on his face (I really hope that he doesn't end up as the pitching version of Jon Singleton) - David Paulino failing to stay healthy... again - Forrest Whitley's late start and now his health scare
Bukauskas went 3 innings with 1 H 0R 1BB 6K for Tri city. With his next outing likely to be 4 innings, it's conceivable that he makes it at Quad cities.
Gilberto Celestino is 3-3 with a double, 2 RBI, and a stolen base (13). Really getting pumped about him.
Yep. Celestino, Nova, Joe Perez, and Nathan Perry are all very important prospects down in short season ball. Celestino might be the prospect in the whole system with the best chance to end up as an above average everyday CF in the majors.
He throws left, bats right. Worst combination. Other than Rickey Henderson I don't think there's ever been any half-decent position players like that, and he is certainly no Rickey Henderson. Trade bait in my book.
