Houston brought back Paul and Capela, but losing Ariza and Mbah a Moute hurts big time, as they provided the length and defensive versatility that made last year's Rockets team special. They'll likely add Carmelo Anthony, and general manager Daryl Morey has hinted that the roster might look different come April. But for now, this is a significant downgrade. Grade: C-

Lol, are they basing OKC's ranking on losing Melo?

Surely everyone knows what to do with predictions about the OKC Thunder now? Take the predicted win total, drop it by a few, and add in a first round exit.

Ariza & Moute made the Rockets "special" last season........

Ariza & Moute "specialness" >>>>> Harden (MVP) , CP3, Capela 42-3 in regular season.

    tbh.

Ben Simmons has never made a 3 pointer in his career. He's very overrated.

Embrace it fellas....this is standard practice. The media doesn’t watch basketball unless it’s on national tv which is utterly embarrassing. Every time they get on tv with this nonsense, they “out” themselves. The only issue is that they aren’t held accountable for the BS. I don’t listen to radio or even watch basketball coverage anymore because it’s like bad barbershop talk lol. I just Podcast and keep it moving mainly.....I can dumb myself down, I don’t need their help

Media are allergic to watching Houston games. They simply echo each others’ baseless takes.

It doesn’t matter how many times morey proves them wrong. He made very solide moves this summer, all things considered. But it doesn’t matter to the media. Nothing ever changes with them, which is why I don’t watch them. I only see their crap because of clutchfans.
