Watching the Bucks and Brook Lopez just FIRING AWAY on the 3's with impunity is hilarious. He has got to be loving the re-birth of his career. Splash Mountain indeed!
What meh teams? They have played every single good team. GSW, Denver, Portland, Clippers, Boston, Toronto, Indiana and Philly. They had the strongest SOS by far in the league. It's only from this week that they get to play easier teams. LOL Absolutely horrible. FT shooting as well which matters more. But yeah he's not a 10% 3pnt shooter, last year he was at 30%. This year he has had a very bad start and still he hasn't played a single good game yet. Horrible 3pnt and midrange shooting, can't shoot FTs well, TOs and stupid fouls. He runs players over and it seems the extra muscle he put on has hindered him. Why he is in the MVP conversation with such bad perfomances is beyond me.
@malakas i meant in the first games, so: Charlotte Indiana New York Phila Minnesota Orlando Toronto (no Giannis but also no Kawhi, OG and VanVleet) I'd say those are mostly meh teams compared to those they faced lately: Boston - L SacTown - W Portland - L Golden State (without Green) - W Clippers - L Denver - W Memphis - L
As I said, they haven't played the Rockets yet with their revamped Defense. Would be a good game. I think the earliest might be next year.
Given that it's only 15 games into an 82-game regular season, I still wouldn't worry too much about it. His shooting averages will even out. Offense aside, he's a great defensive player too. I think having him in the conversation for the MVP is reasonable. But until his shooting comes back I can't consider him in the top2. I might be a bit biased though since I'm a huge Giannis fan. I already had him in my top10 in 2016-17 season Such an exciting player.
Having seen them a few games now I think we are seeing the BEST the Bucks can be I don't think they have another gear to kick into in the playoffs I think that is why they won't make the Championship round Celts/76ers/Raptors - will be better in the playoffs than they are now I don't think the Bucks will be I think I like them better than the other teams though . . . Those teams HAVE TO be better in the playoffs just to match the Bucks. Toronto might be the exception since they have played 25 or so games without Kawhi. Thus far Giannis has kicked into a higher gear every playoffs he's been to and the Bucks have been kind of coasting for a few weeks. Reasonable to expect the Bucks to be better come playoff time.
Bucks were/are missing Brogdon, Mirotic, Snell & Gasol But... Sorry malakas, it's nothing personal but screw the Bucks & I hope they lose. I HAVE GROWN TO HATE THE BUCKS!

hahaha That's why I have ceased posting much here for the time being. I don't want to antagonise such a wonderful forum that I love. Who would know that smh Rockets fans would end up hating the Bucks?!?! FML.
