Never forget the different variations of... “If Lin got the same opportunity Harden gets he would be just as good” Think that one slightly edges out the hilarious claims that just about everyone in the organization was racist. Great and horrible times.
nothing wrong with a being a lin fan except being a lin fan joining many team sites to respond to points of views of real basketball fans who don't worship him as an idol and because they insecure about his true basketball abilities and insecure in their life and having zero interest in the team that the site represents that's the definition of wrong
There will be never a be a phenomenon where fans will ever be this stupid ever again if aliens from outer space got a player in the nba, they wouldn't act like them
Wow, people actually said that? That's insane. For me, Lin's appeal has always been his underdog status, beating expectations despite his limitations. That said, even Daryl Morey admitted that his racial bias is what kept him from drafting Lin.
Unfortunately, Lin's injuries over the last two seasons have all but killed his opportunity to be a starting PG for a good team. At this age and physical condition, teams will only be interested in him as a role player or mentor for young up-and-coming PGs like Trae Young. At this point, I expect him to be traded before the All-Star game to a team that is in need of a PG like the Suns or in a salary-cap move. Hoping he'll get more minutes this season than 10-15/game, but that will probably only happen if Young gets hurt (or he gets traded per above). Best of luck to him (and I'll continue to watch/support him)...
Still on this dudes jock? Geesh you'd think he won an MVP here and bailed on us for more money somewhere else.
the player only fan phenomenon is bad the "Kobe" fans who don't want LeBron James on the Lakers are absolutely not true Lakers fans Who wants their team to suck?? not team fans
Lol first it was Melo and the knicks. Followed by harden and Mcfail... Then the ire of the cult of Lin fell on Kobe and the lakers.. then the hornets and Kembla followed by Russell and the nets. Now it’s young and the Hawks
He who should not be named has never been a rocket. Altough there are a lot of photoshop pictures of him in a rockets jersey.
Watched some of the Mavs/Hawks game and Lin looks awful. He has lost all of his quickness and if he can't gain it back he's a negative value player.
Yeah that knee injury took a toll on him. His first step is completely gone. I think the patella rupture is one of the worst injuries you can get in terms of recovery and return to form.
Lin was never skilled to begin with so he relied on his size and speed. Now that his speed is on decline street he is becoming even more useless if that was even possible. Should look at the prospect of playing overseas once his current contract runs out
What do you mean "first it was Melo and the Knicks"? It was pretty clear that Melo and Dolan were alone on that one in NY. Even Amare confirmed that. McFail liked Lin...gave him 28 minutes per game, even as a backup. Kobe played 2 years too long, and yes, Lin was on the wrong end of that. But every player that left the Lakers along with Lin had far better seasons away from the Lakers (including Lin). Byron Scott is a proven loser as a coach and was tank commander. Lin had a great year with the Hornets, and by all accounts they owed much of their success that season to Lin (what have they done since he left?). He was 6th in voting for the 6th Man award that year and his performance led to a pretty good (not great) contract with the Nets the following year. With the Nets, it was his injuries that limited him. He got along fine with Russell and was clearly liked by everyone on the team and the coaching staff. No ill will towards the Hawks...Lin has been out of the game for a year and only played 36 games in two years. He's coming back from a major injury. It's disappointing for him and his fans, but no one is complaining about how the Hawks are using him.
He's only played limited minutes in 4 games which are the first he's played in a year (and 2nd he's played in way more than a year). Time will tell, but it's way too early to tell how it will be for him.
