If you haven't seen it yet, the creators of "Game of Zones" are now into football, too. This episode is exceptionally funny to us Germans, so many hidden gags. The other episodes are hilarious as well.
Damn, looks like we're not the only ones in trouble. Spain down 3-0 at home versus England, not even halftime.
The coaching changes for Spain and Real are looking turrible right now, everyone coming out of this as a loser.
I'm guessing most of the posters here are watching Germany-France game now but I'm really enjoying Belgium-Holland game. A great first half, some needed distraction from all the mess that is going on in Belgium right now.
Personally i enjoyed the game and thought it was a bit more than an okay game but i might be biased as a Belgium fan. The game had a nice tempo and some good offensive mood and i also enjoyed the fact that its look like the Oranje are back to the football front with some big talents..
I just watched it and it was funny but i totally feel that some jokes flew over my head and that i missed some of the jokes. Gotta up my game and finally go to Oktoberfest.
it's really overcrowded and stuff is expensive af, in general it's more recommended to attend the festivals in smaller Bavarian towns or villages. Way more chill and not as commercialised.
BILD saying we could've had Sancho back when he was with Man City, but bosses didn't think highly of him. Unreal, our bosses really should stop interfering with the scouts.
Here are some of the not too obvious references 0:35 - Klinsmann incident... 1:09 - Sign in the back: "Haargel" (= hair gel)... reference to Reus and other Dortmund players using tons of it before games 1:41 - Reus punching a human wall - The "Südtribüne" where Dortmund's most passaionate fans stand is known as "gelbe Wand" (yellow wall) 1:45 - "Bastian Schweinshaxn" (pig leg) of course relates to Schweinsteiger 1:50 - Hoffenheim is only a small village and the team a plastic club sponsored by a billionaire, that's why the players in the video are excited about how many people are at the fest 1:57 - Hoffenheim has the youngest coach in Bundesliga history, Julian Nagelsmann, who looks pretty young and hence isn't allowed in the beer tent 2:03 - Müller dancing... 2:17 - Raumdeuter .. Müller gave himself that nickname actually as a joke 2:18 - Horse and list in the background - Müller owns several horses, the list refers to his scoring in the World Cup 2:34 - Americans are at the breakfast stations after breakfast... refers to Pulisic and I think Schalke's McKennie having extra breakfast, but couldn't find any links here
Thank you for the explanation. I got 4 out of 10. Maybe if it was 4 years ago i would have gotten all of the Müller references but he is just a disappointment now and i dont really follow his career anymore.
Klinsmann had one of his best stints at Spurs, would have never kicked a hole into the object. He is a diver deep down.
While we are waiting for Houston's game some news from Belgium. Hopefully big changes are coming, it looks like agnets are gonna be targeted, on the basis of money laundering suspicions. A 3 members committee is being established and their task would be to conduct new ruels that would mitigate the power and influence of agents. The team would be headed by Pierre François(belgian leauge CEO) and Melchior Wathelet(former minster of justice). In the meanwhile it seems that there would be an obligatory "internal code" about dealing with agents until the committee would publish it conclusion. I'm hopeful to see a change, it's time to make it happen.
Hoeneß, Rummenigge and Salihamidzic doing a joint press conference today, weird. This usually only happens when we do a coaching change or sign a big name player.
