1.5 blocks, 2.5 steals is outstanding. Add 8.5 rebs, 3 pt shooting AND 7 assists from the PF spot? I don't like him as a man, but when could Battier or Hayes ever produce that? He's absolutely borderline All-Star. But then you cant say he's not an All-Star, because he was an All-Star. If Sam Dekker was doing that we'd be creaming our pants comparing him to T-Mac and Larry Bird
Not the year you said he was a superstar. He's overrated and if he were on any other team besides the lights out shooting Warriors, he'd only be on ESPN when he got in fights off the court. He is nothing without quality teammates. He gets the assists and wide open shots because of them. Case closed. When his career ends, no one will be comparing him to great players like Bird. He's a hot hand because his team is winning. I'd rather list all the players in the NBA that are better than him, that list will have a few superstars at the top, but mediocre guys in between. He's garbage. He plays like garbage. He's nothing different than an Anthony Mason. Superstars make it to the hall of fame, he's not a future hall of famer. He's a guy with a skillset that works well in Northern California. Trade Boogie for Draymond and the Kings get worse. Time will show that he's just another Matt Barnes.
You dont know that. He WAS nobody, and GSW wasn't even a contender in anybodys eyes, then he gets inserted in starting lineup and they won title, he becomes all-star and achieve the best RS record EVER and almost repeated were it not for miraculous cavs comeback never seen in the history of basketball. Even when Curry was injured or not playing well that team and Draymond still performed like miracle workers. Many , many analysts consider him the true MVP of that team now. Whatever, the point of bringing Dray into this discussion is the that he ilustrates that the sky is the ceiling for Dekker, not that he cant become a bust, but his ceiling is through the roof for now...

Dekker is the primary reason I am not worry about BJ ARMSTRONG's PUPPET He plays decent to good defense His three ball is not ugly and is pretty good His athleticism is a much needed asset on this team I honestly think he is as good or better than the puppet . . . now . .. but will be better soon Rocket River
I like Sam a lot . But I am still worried . I honk he will be a great player maybe as soon as next year but I'm not sold for this one yet . 1. This is rookie season basically , history dictates that at some point he will hit a rookie wall . When does this happen and how long does it last for are the important questions ? 2. Not sold on the shot yet . This is partially due to #1 and also partially due to small sample size and many of those shot being wide open . How will the shot fair in the playoffs when players are flying at him Corey Brewer style ? I like Sams potential and I think he is going to be at minimum a solid role player for a long time . I think his ceiling is great . But traditionally teams don't rely on rookies into the playoffs ( and I know he was drafted last year , but I don't think that helps here) A veteran presence ( if healthy ) would have been nice .

I vote no. Injury history. Much higher salary (though an upcoming FA I think). Doesn't appreciable change the end result. If they'll take Brewer, KJ, a pick.... sure.
