My favorite thing about Dekker is his comfortability around the CROWDED rim. He has a knack for finishing drives and passes that are thrown to him when he cuts. He doesnt rush anything and you can tell he has confidence to give an easy pump fake, let defenders jump by and then finish the easy bunny.

Better looking J, too. Smooth telease, nice arch, good follow thru. Parson's is flat, release funky, and inconsistent.

Ya he's trippin on that one.

I like dekker but AK47 was Draymond Green before there was Draymond Green of you get what I'm saying.

That guy would put up 12/10/7/2/2 stat lines all the time.

I don't see that from dekker.

But I do love watching dekker play and I do think he's helping the team a lot when he's on the court.

He's got a very bright future. He's one of those role players that every good team needs. I don't think he's good enough to be an allstar guy but he has starter potential and I could sea him being at 15ppg and 7reb with pretty solid defense.

I see him as a Rick Fox type rather than Parsons. Parsons was a hell of a scorer with good playmaking, but no defense. Dekker is almost the opposite. He can score, but has always needed to be set up. He's smart on both sides of the ball and should eventually end up as a starter somewhere.

Rick Fox was pretty good scorer in Boston.Having said that Fox did his best work off the court. Man has a legendry reputation interms of scoring off the court

Dekker currently has the 2nd best 3pt % on the team.
Nice to have in a bench guy. He's showing some promise

In that regard, I'm sure Parsons has plenty in common with Fox.

He's kind of like Chandler without the "Hollywood" or "Dallas". I like the fact that he can come in with the 2nd unit and they just keep going. There's no rest for the defense when that 2nd unit comes in if they're clicking. They just keep cranking out points and keep putting the pressure. Even when he's playing with starters, Dekker's always a threat to leak out on a break/on the wing and force the defense to keep up. Every good team needs a Dekker. :)

I love everyone on our team this year. Will be sad if anyone is traded......except Ennis, Brown, KJ, Brewer, and Nene to an extent. Even with Brewer, he may be a headless chicken on the court. But he's OUR headless chicken.

I'm really impressed with Dekker. I didn't flame him last year on here, but I surely didn't think he would be this good this year. I didn't like the pick, mostly because he was hurt. But I'm so glad he is on our team right now.

I think Dekker will end up being a Ariza level player, a solid starter or super player off the bench. He's like an Ariza with less defense, better rebounding, and better driving ability. Hopefully his shooting keeps up. Thank you Omer Asik and the Pelicans.

The Rockets really do owe the Pelicans a thank you note for Gordon, Anderson, and Dekker.
