Mike MacIntyre to interview for the Baylor job after the PAC 12 title game. CU will need to give him a huge raise to keep him and he's currently the lowest paid coach in thr conference. His daughter is a Baylor grad if I am not mistaken. "Believes it'd be a great fit." (CT Steckel - twitter). MacIntyre, Fleck, Fedora are on the "short list." Dykes has to be the fall back option.
HONESTLY, y'all should be considering Les Miles. For the same reasons I want him, stability (he's 63 so his next job is where he is retiring) and a highly respected guy to be the face of the program. I'm kinda surprised there isn't a lot of Miles to Baylor talk tbh. Incredible resume (one of five active coaches with a title), recruits Texas/Louisiana very well, just seems like a good guy.
Outside of recent success, isn't Colorado a superior job to Baylor? There's a cyclical nature to job values, but generally, isn't a good Colorado team a bigger deal than a good Baylor team?
Think it was but now that Briles has shown that you can recruit kids to Waco, think it might be the better job with the recruiting base you get with it.
It looks like Jeff Brohm will have his pick in between Baylor, Purdue (both have made formal offers) and Cincinnati
lol. So Brohm was offered a contract by Baylor and chose Purdue. No one wants anything to do with the dumpster fire in Waco.
Purdue has got to be the most forgettable football team in any major conference. I always pass it over.
