And Wilt. The three you mentioned plus Chamberlain are probably my short list for GOAT. Once you get down to outliers of that level, I think it's essentially impossible to precisely rank them. They were each completely unique, great in very different ways.

When I was younger, I used to argue Olajuwon was the GOAT, but I don't really think I can support that. He's just my favorite player. I'd put Olajuwon with guys like Shaq, Magic, Bird and Robertson--next tier after the above guys.

Yeah my bad, Wilt is probably my #1 draft pick in any draft ever. I think MJ had the better career, but there's no one i would draft over Wilt.

Why not just get rid of the salary cap. If owners want to win they should spend money.

They can go 82-0 if they want to.

you have to somewhat adjust for the fact those were expansion seasons. win totals for top teams spiked as there were not only expansion teams, but weakened teams from the expansion draft to feast on. jazz and sonics were probably borderline 60 win teams (still really good) and the heat an upper-50's win team.

according to vegas lebron has only been a favorite in 2 of his 8 finals. make what you want of that, but vegas isn't in the business of losing money on bets. and he actually lost 1 of them, 2011. kind of surprising they weren't favored against the thunder but the thunder had just won 4 straight games against a spurs team that was on a 20 game winning streak, including 10 in the playoffs. i'm not saying lebron has had a tough road in the east, but he has definitely faced some good teams in the finals.

And over half the league with kids and d-leaguers in thier lineups are not bottom feeders for a 73 win team, etc? Add to that strategic resting days where top teams now are cool with taking L's for their stars to rest.

At this point I wouldn't even be mad if Westbrook somehow joined the cavs next season. Get rid of a couple more (shump, thompson, smith) and stack the roster.

I don't care what Lebron says after the game obviously he was tired. He just doesn't want the headline to say "Lebron said he was tired" and look like he's making excuses.

I would not either. The Warriors would still beat them. It would just be a closer series and a more spectacular defeat.

WB and Kyrie couldn't play together. He probably couldn't even play with LeBron.

WB cannot play where he isn't the #1 ball handler.

Yeah, but i was talking more about Klay's perspective as a player, like, he was one of the two splash brothers until some months ago, right now, aside for some games where he drops 30/40 points, it's all about Durant and Curry so...maybe when his contract is up and he'll have won a couple of more titles, he will look to play for himself somewhere else...i don't know, maybe he just doesn't care and he's totally fine being in the shadow of Durant, Curry and Green, but who knows...

    I agree.

Even though i remember seeing here somewhere that Harden with Westbrook was the best duo stat wise for OKC when the big 3 were still together, i wonder how they were make it happen since i was kinda shocked to see that, i always thought their best duo should've been 100% Durant with Harden or with Westbrook since KD is the best player off the ball between them.

Honestly they can go 82-0 if the schedule favors it. Like not too many back to backs...strength of opponents evenly spread out with rest..

i.e. not playing spurs, thunder, rockets on a road trip..with the spurs and rockets as b2b games.

Wait, I got it. Lebron's gonna bring back the headband tonight. Cleveland wins in 7.
