    I disagree. He hopped on a 73 win team's bandwagon. He'll still hear about that long after he retires. Especially if we're stuck with Warriors-Cavs for the next few years and the NBA becomes unwatchable.

    NBA kind of reminds me of Womens Olympic Hockey. Lots of teams but you know it only USA vs Canada matters.

    I hope ratings tank next year. There's literally only one team that can win the championship for the next 2-3 years. Thanks a lot NBA, I'll take my money to CFB and the MLB.

    He is sucking offensively but playing great defense. Without his defense, Cavs would be a lot closer.

    And you know no one will be talking about how he went 3-14. Overshadowed by the night KD and Curry had, GSW's win, how LeBron couldn't will his team to a win, etc.

    Whereas if Harden goes 3-14, the spotlight is on him continuously.

    Both are very good points.

    Warriors didn't have to bring their "A" game to blow things open because the Cavs just can't find themselves.

    It's just game 1 though.

    The difference is that if Thompson goes 3-14, he still contributes great defense.
    If Harden goes 3-14, he contributes nothing.

    I see your point, but Lebron jumped ship to form the super team in Miami. Nobody talks about that anymore. Then you think about history. My lady friend is from Utah and LOVES the Jazz. I tease her all the time and she knows it's true. Karl Malone and John Stockton nobody cares about their "legacy" because it includes not having a ring. Same with Charles Barkley. Who knows 20 years from now how KD will be seen. But based on history and how much importance players, fans, and pundits alike value a ring. I say, everyone will only see KD as part of one of the greatest teams ever assembled. They won't see him for jumping ship to a 73 win team.

    Lebron helped form one from the ground up. Durant just piggybacked on one that just won the championship a couple years back. Big difference.
