Funny how this thread petered out yesterday afternoon. We're all about to die* and.......did everyone evacuate already? Did everyone evacuate already? Did everyone evacuate already? Did everyone evacuate already? Did everyone evacuate already? Echo. Echo. Echo. Echo. Hunh. Everybody's left already. In any case, gowanns to be an interesting weekend. * - sarcasm
That's like the worst possible scenario. We get the bad side of the storm and then it wraps around to hit us again? If it stalls...yup, feel heart burn. Why this **** gotta happen on a weekend? Do this on a Monday so we can stay at home half the week.
^ Dang it, man, I opened up this thread just to report this. SNIPPET of transcript: "... MAAAAAAAJOR STOOORM IS HEADED TOWARDS--HOUSTON, TEXAS ON--SATURDAY AUGUST THE 26TH--TWO THOUSAND AND-- Sssssssss...eventeen! " #thankYouFranky #loveFrankyMacDonald #moveOverDrNeilFrank #iWouldPairHimUpWithElitaLoresca
I love that weatherman. If his name is Frank so be it. Speaking of Frank, this is going to be a storm that Houston has not seen before. Everything is set up for Frank to be the worst tropical/hurricane event in the Houston area. I have lived through Hurricane Alicia, and that tropical wave we know as Allison, but this has the potential to be worse than both of those combined. I think the so-called weather professionals are downplaying the storm 48 hours before it makes landfall. They just now issued a tropical depression watch for Houston? That's funny, because this thing has the potential to explode into a Cat 3 within 24 hours. I'm not trying to get everyone's panties in a wad, but this has the potential of putting a major Dent on Houston over the next several days. I suggest getting everything you need within 24 hours, and be prepared for the city to be a ghost town on Tuesday afternoon.
They rather people be over prepared than under prepared. People will b**** at them no matter what, if they say don't worry about this storm and it comes and there is mass destruction people would say they should have told us.
