Rummenigge today saying we'll very likely be extending the Robbery contracts. Well deserved, they really had great games this season. Also gives us a bit more time to search for adequate wingers, with Gnabry joining in July we'll have four wingers next season.
holy schitte, who are all these players scoring that are not in my fpl team??? none of my players showed up.
And Arsenal's are? Wenger has turned them into the most mediocre team that ever mediocred. I realize you guys are having trouble in the search but Wenger isn't the answer...unless the question is "Do you enjoy watching the CL from your couch"? At halftime of the Derby, I went to do some stuff around the house. Came back and it was freakin 2-2. There were no signs of life in United in that first half. I'm not sure what Morinho did to them in the locker room...but someone or something lit a fire under their asses. They got mad and they turned City into a bunch of sniveling whiny babies. It doesn't change the ultimate outcome (but how f***ing awesome would it be if City went into a tailspin and United stole it from them on the last day?), but you have to applaud United for saying "Not today. Not against us."
Sportbuzzer saying Tuchel to PSG a done deal, 2yr contract. Two years is a pretty small amount of time, would support the possible Wenger scenario. Have Wenger here for two seasons and handling things with his experience, then bring in Tuchel. Or we bring in Nagelsmann now, his wife and child are moving to Munich this year and Hoffenheim already rejected a Bayern offer when he was a youth coach. It's his dream to coach Bayern so I don't think Hopp would deny his wishes again, especially seeing how Nagelsmann was always loyal to the club.
Not watching the PL a whole lot, but I think Arsenal's difficulties rely more on the manager Wenger than on the coach Wenger. Back in the day he refused to sign big players and went all-in on youngsters, which went terribly wrong. Maybe it's because I was always curious to see how Wenger would do in another league or with another team - maybe indeed he decreased and shouldn't be in charge for any ambitious team... but I can't help myself and still think he's the best option available. But since Tuchel to PSG (and not Arsenal) seems to be official, it has become more unlikely. I think it rather has to do with the sheik's minions not being convinced by Tuchel. The sheik insisted on Tuchel, the other guys wanted Conte, so that might be the compromise they worked out.
I could see Tuchel having trouble juggling things with the stars.........like Emery. He probably wants the CL title because that French Ligue 1 is not really that desirable.
Liverpool fan here. Very nervous on this one. Pep is going all in with his starting 11. We need a goal to kill this off
1-0 City at halftime. This is far from over. Thought Klopp would go for his usual pressure/counter style, instead he's doing his best Mourinho impression. Not sure if this is gonna work for 90min.
Think the best way to play against City is to press them. Sitting back is a recipe for disaster. Plus City only weakness is their defense.
